I saw My Reincarnation in Santa Monica on the opening night of the Los Angeles engagement and was completely engaged throughout the film. Despite my previous knowledge of these events, I was surprised and moved by the intimacy and power of the story. I cannot imagine that any other documentary film has been created over this scope of time with this degree of access to the intimate family life details of its subject. Add that to the unquestionably unique nature of this story and the characters being shown, and the profound impact of this great work of film becomes apparent. By the end of the film I was in tears and laughing aloud at the amazing turn of events. There are no words to describe the emotions of awe and respect that this film engenders. But a huge debt of gratitude is owed to Jennifer Fox for her dedication and artistic mastery in completing this monumental project.
